What our clients say
"I have had a good working relationship with First
Actuarial for a number of years now, and have always been satisfied with the service
they have provided. They have advised us on a number of varied issues, providing
particularly expert advice on numerous cases of staff transfers from Local Authorities
and admission agreements to Local Government Pension Schemes. They always work promptly
to deadlines and are generous in working to any last minute urgent requests that
emerge at our end. The team provide a very personable
service, talking issues through with us to clarify exactly what our requirements
are and making us fully aware of any professional implications that may be involved.
Work is always produced to a high standard and to whatever format best suits our
needs.
I believe the service they provide is good value for money and to a high standard.
I would recommend them."

Services to Housing Associations
The Housing Association sector has undergone an enormous amount of change recently.
This has touched all facets of the business and not least, the provision of pension
benefits to the staff.
Over the last few years, we have built an enviable reputation within the sector
for providing clear, comprehensive, but concise advice to employers from all sectors
and of all sizes. We have undertaken pension reviews for some of the largest organisations,
including a significant number of London’s G15 organisations, and some of the smaller
RSLs. By using the experience gained with these companies, we are quickly able to
identify the key issues which can affect your business and help you understand the
options available and make the decisions which are right for your organisation.
Our services cover:
As part of our services to RSLs, we have undertaken a number of surveys of pension
benefits within the sector. Many employers have found these a useful tool in assessing
how they compare to the rest of the market and to identify possible trends into
the future. The lastest surveys can be found in our Information
Center.
Following publication of the provisional results of the 2011 SHPS Valuation we have put together a bulletin covering the key issues.
